Dr. Colin Holman came to Atlanta for a few days recently. He inspired and coached 2 Brass Bands………the Georgia Brass Band (GBB) and the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO) Brass Band. Both of these ensembles make their home at the new Dozier Centre for the Performing Arts in Kennesaw, Georgia (www.doziercentre.com).

The GBB is gearing up for a triumphant return to the North American Brass Band Association (NABBA) National Competition; and the GYSO Brass Band is an emerging youth group of formidable talent, looking to learn more fully and explore the genre. Thankfully, Dr. Holman agreed to come on camera and discuss one of our favorite subjects: BRASS BAND!!!!!!
