Vincent Persichetti (1915-1987) wrote a Serenade (No.6, Op.40) for a most uncommon group of musical collaborators: trombone, viola, and cello
In this Episode, we hear Colin Williams on trombone, Brad Ritchie on cello, and Catherine Lynn on viola. This is some superb chamber music, folks! Hope you enjoy it. We all know how fun it is to play LOUD, but it’s equally impressive to hear a trombone played with a real sense of CONTEXT, as Colin does here. Bravo, sir! The interplay between these 3 superb musicians is inspiring, enlightening, and worthy of watching again and again.
