Meet Andy Miller, the hardest rockin’ tuba player in show biz!
I never knew Andy had this hidden talent. Just shows to go, you never quite know what kind of animal is holding up the bottom of the orchestra:-)
Thanks for the emails……….still looking for more pictures for the “Viewer Appreciation” episode! Send them to:

It’s been my honor this week to be on the faculty of the International Euphonium Institute.
I have a number of really great interviews and performance videos from this awesome conference.
The first is with a man that really needs no introduction.
Dr. Brian Bowman. Enough said.
Please enjoy……

Jay Evans is the Principal Trombonist of the Alabama Symphony……and an extremely diverse and interesting artist. In this episode, I have the pleasure of playing some duets with Jay and talking about his multi-faceted career. He’ll play some didgeridoo and alto trombone, both of which he has mastered.
So, we hope you enjoy meeting our friend, Jay Evans.
Please keep the emails coming (tom@trombonelessons.com). We really appreciate hearing from y’all.
NOTICE: an upcoming episode will be a “viewer appreciation” special. We’d love to include a photo of you! Please send one:-)
Peace everybody.

Welcome back, ladies and gents.
This episode is about one of my favorite “side projects”, the Piedmont Trombone Society (PTS). Our debut album, “Let’s Get Lost” is nearly sold out. It was voted Best Ensemble Jazz Album of 2004 by the International Trombone Association.
You can download our debut album, “Let’s Get Lost” here:

The PTS is a brotherhood. These guys are some of the finest musicians and best people you’ll ever meet. We love to get out and about for performances/clinics/masterclasses. For booking info, please send me an email (tom@trombonelessons.com)
NOTICE: We will do an upcoming Episode featuring a theme of “Viewer Appreciation”. We really do feel humbled by the many emails, comments, and pictures we’re receiving. Please keep ‘em coming (send to: tom@trombonelessons.com)
We would love for you to send a picture so we can assemble a collage episode showing trombonists around the world! As always, thanks………and Peace.
