Bruce Mangan and Ron Chenoweth are our guests, ladies and gentle men…..they’re experts in helping folks find their new trombone. I try out a few “Eastman by Shires” in this episode and we talk with the experts about finding the horn that’s JUST right. Buying a new trombone can be a daunting, confusing, stressful task. How do you know which is the best? What should I be looking for? Hopefully, some of those questions will be answered within. We hope you learn from this episode, but please write us with questions/concerns:

100 Episodes!!!!! That calls for some celebration, no? So I figured: why not celebrate with one of the greatest trombonists of ALL time?
Wycliffe Gordon is our guest!
Yup, that’s right. He graciously took time out of his very busy schedule to sit down with David Lynch and myself. Hope you enjoy this one, ladies and gentlemen…..Happy 100!

Thanks to Wycliffe, Howard Lovett of Studio South Productions, and the band members for their incredible hospitality. The studio in which we are filming has quite a history……The Godfather of Soul, James Brown, recorded there! In fact, Howard had the honor of working with him on many occasions. Obviously, there’s still a TON of funk in the room.
